New beginnings

In 2015, Austin Circuit Design came under the leadership of Chairman Mike Tieu and Chief Executive Officer Minh Nguyen. The goal was to create a truly global design firm that offered customers full manufacturing capabilities and had access to a wide network of sourcing partners.

Mike and Minh relocated ACD from Austin to Dallas, then established design presences in Florida and Vietnam and built relationships with manufacturers in Dallas, Atlanta, and China to take our capabilities to the next level.

In 2022, our rapidly expanding team prompted us to move to a bigger office where we continue to grow and fulfill the needs of our customers.

A story that started in Texas

Founded in Dallas as “Circuit Design Consultants”, ACD has been serving our customers from Texas since 1985. While we’ve moved around the Lone Star State a few times, our commitment to excellence has never wavered. Presently, our headquarters is located in the Richardson IQ, a living laboratory for big ideas and ground-breaking technology in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
