Hardware Design Engineer

Job Type: Full-time, on-site (Richardson, TX)

    • Board-level hardware design and PCB layout including; analog, digital, microcontroller, RF, RFID, and power supply.

    • Apply innovative problem-solving and the ability to multitask in order to get projects done in a timely manner.

    • Work well in a design team to put out a cohesive product.

    • Debugging hardware designs.

    • Work in an office environment.

    • Ability to travel internationally, if required.

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.

    • 10+ years of direct design experience.

    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

    • Ability to manage a bill of materials (BOM).

    • Skills:

      • Audio/Video Design

      • Analog/RF and Digital Design

      • Power Design, high voltage, and current

      • ARM Micro/DSP Design

    • Experience

      • Bluetooth, USB 2.0/3.0, SPI and I2C

      • DDR, Flash, eMMC, UTP

      • Cameras, MIPI/CSI, UTP, LVDS

      • Ethernet, Wifi, LTE

      • UART, LVDS

      • EMI.EMC

    • Proficiency

      • Schematic Capture (OrCAD) and PCB Layout (Allegro)

      • Excel, Google Sheets

      • JTAG Debuggers

      • Oscilloscopes. Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers
